Another Success Story: Zeke was a very nice Standardbred gelding smooth and fast. I was contacted by Judy & Bob Suter in Gold Run Ca. about buying a smooth speed racking horse. She was hooked after riding Skip's Fancy Pants in 2002 after the horse show in White Pine Tn. We had just got Zeke he was a very nice horse but he was sore footed because the owner before us had cut his feet so small. We told Judy about his feet and we had him on wedges until his feet grew out. They bought Zeke and he left Ky. and went to his new home in Ca. The Suters feel is love with the big gentle Standardbred Zeke he rode many miles in the Ca. Mountains. Zeke was Bob mount and he just love the big gelding. Age take a hold of us all, and Bob started having some health problems so they sold Zeke on the promise if the new owner sold him that the Suter's would be able to have first chance at buying him back. Here is Zeke's Story.

Hi Suzie, This is an email that I received from the friend that I sold Zeke to. He did three 50 mile endurance rides on him last weekend. Judy I want to let you know that I rode Zeke all three days on the Wild West rides. He did great, it was the fist time I really let him out during an event. OH MY GOD, he went into his beautiful four beat rack and sustained it mile after mile after mile, then had excellent recoveries at the vet checks. Riding Zeke is like taking the cap of a bottle of soda that has been shaken; you have to be very careful about how much you let out. He has so many gaits. I find that it is important to let him use all of them, including the trot. He has one of the most difficult trots to ride I have encountered, but we are starting to be able to get together with it. He needs to trot on the up hill and does the stepping pace or rack on the level or downhill. I estimate that he trots about a third of the time. It was amazing to see how well he maintained his condition. In three days of ridding I never saw any sign of stiffness or soreness at all. His legs were clean and tight with no sign of filling. Throughout my life I have had some outstanding horses and Zeke certainly stands out as one of the best I have known. Phil

ROSEBUDS ATTAR owned by BOB BRUMBLY 2009 aka Coal Miners Daughter

When I first seen this mare at New Vocation Race Horse Adoption I knew she would be good. I adopted Attar aka Rosebud as a 2 year old. She was very unbroke. I started riding her and rode her many miles on the trails and the ring. I took her to a local show she won her first class. I was very thrilled to carry that Blue out. Rosbud was very tail so I figure I would sell her and get a smaller horse. I had a friend I knew she would suit just right. I held on to Rosebud until my good friend Bob Burmly come to look at her. I knew he would buy he as soon as he seen her, and I was right. Bob Bought her as a late 3 yr. old she was broke, ring ready she only need a little more finishing. When Bob got her he didn't like the name Rosebud so her changed her name to Coalminers Daughter. Bob dropped her off with Pete Slemp and he rode her to a Blue ribbon World Championship in 33 & 4 yr. old Speed Racking. I knew this mare was a champion and she would go on the be great.
